Casa Apicii & Bar Fortuna
Casa Apicii opened in 2016 as an Italian restaurant set in the garden level of a historic 19th century Greenwich Village townhouse serving Chef Casey Lane’s seasonal cooking. Lane, also the chef-owner of The Tasting Kitchen in Los Angeles, offered a menu rooted in fresh pasta and seasonal vegetable dishes in this well-appointed debut from APICII Group. Bar Fortuna, their Italian speakeasy on the second floor, quickly became a “luxe parlor for the downtown set.”
